A goal of our school district, as conveyed through our School Improvement Plan, is to “establish a consistent curriculum from grades K-8, to increase student achievement and support social-emotional well-being.” Over the 22-23 school year, select members of our teaching staff participated in an English Language Arts curriculum pilot intended to research, identify, and test out a prospective ELA curriculum for implementation at Oak Grove. As a result of this pilot, it was recommended that Oak Grove adopt the Into Reading curriculum for grades K-6, and the Amplify ELA curriculum for grades 7-8 beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.
