A goal of our school district, as conveyed through our School Improvement Plan, is to “establish a consistent curriculum from grades K-8, to increase student achievement and support social-emotional well-being.” Over the 21-22 school year, select members of our teaching staff participated in a Math curriculum pilot intended to research, identify, and test out a prospective Math curriculum for implementation at Oak Grove. As a result of this pilot, it was recommended that Oak Grove adopt the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum for grades K-8 beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.
