Good afternoon, families! It was great first full week in fifth and sixth grade ELA. This year, I am going to encourage students to read more. The more they read, the better they get. In the spirit of getting them excited about reading, last week we did a book tasting where students got read “a taste” of several different books to give them ideas of what they may want to read throughout the year. They seemed to really enjoy it, and it was pretty awesome hearing them excited about some great books!
